Three indigenous communities in the Bolivian highlands fight to protect their water supplies from diversion and contamination amid a national water crisis. The government has consistently supported the expansion of mining and granted miners unrestricted water access. UMA, the Aymara word for water, takes us on a journey from the tropical Andean glaciers and the highest navigable lake in the world to the mines of Oruro, and the vanished Lake Poopó.
It is a women's story of displacement, resistance, and struggle for environmental justice.

The Catalan Call for Democracy

This documentary was born out of the outrage in the face of police violence on October 1, 2017 in Catalonia and the criminalisation of a democratic instrument as basic as a referendum.
Its purpose is to put face and voice to the independence movement and analyze with the help of experts both its historical roots and its legal dimension and media treatment.
It is not about justifying the declaration of Independence, but about defending basic principles of democracy that put dialogue before repression.
